INTRODUCTION TO ITALIAN
NEW ITALIAN ESPRESSO 1
A complete course taking students from beginner level to intermediate level. All instructions are in English. This textbook is well laid out and comes with audio and practice exercises.
After New Italian Espresso 1 we move either to New Italian Espresso 2 or Nuovo Espresso 2 depending on the specific needs and confidence of the students.
FALSE BEGINNERS
For students who have studied Italian in the past but want to go right back to the beginning, Nuovo Espresso 1 covers everything, but instructions are in Italian rather than in English. This gives students more of a challenge and allows them to be more immersed in the language.
INTERMEDIATE
We move from Nuovo Espresso 1 OR New Espresso 1 to either New Espresso 2 or Nuovo Espresso 2 for Intermediate classes. This will be discussed with students and we will decide together which book we progress to.
